Nell’s Review – Magical Rescue Pets – Blaze The Phoenix
Nell, aged 9 loves animals – even fictional ones, so was excited about reading this book. She liked the characters – Rosie and Kat and that they are best friends and share the secret of the Magical Rescue Vets between them. This is the 3rd book in the series and she would love to read more.
Aimed at children 7-10, Nell believes this to be the right age range, as she enjoyed reading it independently. Though we did read some pages together, so I had a gist of the book too.
What’s it about – Kat & Rosie find Blaze who has the hiccups, but this makes the people and animals around him grow younger. The gnomes and vets come to the rescue with a magical blanket, that helps eventually stop the hiccups.
