There are simply too many good books to chose from, and I am too late to chose a Top 5 and I’m not sure I could narrow it down to just 5 anyway. But heres what I have read anyway……..in no particular order.

Fear, Murder, kidnap, haunted asulyms, childhood angst and Romance !

Betrayal, Love, friendship, Murder, and some kindness thrown in

Drugs, death, scandal, dissaperance, love and Groundhog Day.
I was lucky enough to meet a few authors at book signings too: Clare Mackintosh, Stuart Turton, Cara Hunter, Libby Page, Karen Hamilton, Olivia Kiernan, Ruth Hogan, CJ Tudor, Jodi Piccoult and Ransom Riggs.

There are of course others… that don’t picture here – as I borrowed from friends, or are on my kindle from blog tours and got loaded as Mobi reads, those include Trophies by David Evans, The Celtic Phoenix by Kim Krisco for Caroline Vincent and The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley. And Gail

Kindle reads ….. on Netgalley
However the Stand out books for me have been…
Stuart Turton – Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – a true masterpiece.
Cally Taylor’s – The Fear – that ending – wow!
Karen Dionne’s – The Marsh Kings Daughter – a powerful suspense thriller.
The Chalk Man – CJ Tudor – a superb debut, as an 80’s kid I got so much of the references, just brilliant.
The Lingering – Susi Holiday – made me want to stop having baths !
In the Dark – Cara Hunter – I live near Oxford, so I adore these books, and can’t wait for the next installment from DI Fawley.
Too Close To Breathe – Olivia Kiernan – breakthrough debut, Frankie Sheernan is totally here to stay!
ok…..all of them!! Not one duff book amongst them all……
So, happy 2019 fellow readers!
